Here we go again...

So.. finally sat down to figure out my password for this blog and I've decided to start it up again. Once again, there is no rhyme or reason for this blog other than giving myself a chance to breathe.. and to 'release' some of my thoughts, concerns, dreams and whatever else is on my mind. It will probably take me a few days to revamp the page and a few tries to figure this whole thing out again. So... sit back, relax and enjoy. =)

Give some get some...

I came across an interesting article suggesting that men who do chores, have more sex. I think it makes some sense.. some people might disagree lol. Check it out. It's also pretty funny to read the comments that people make, agreeing and disagreeing with the suggestion.

USS New York

I found something I didn't know about and figured it would be a good one to share. There was 7.5 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center that was put to good use. It was used to build the USS New York!
'The steel from the towers is now part of the ship that splices through the water, leading the way. "It resurrects the ashes, so to speak, to do great things for our nation," said Bill Glenn, a spokesman for Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, the ship builder."

Shooting Stars

Haven't you ever just sat outside staring at the stars? I have, plenty of times. Especially here at school... a quick drive up to the top of the mountain away from all the lights of campus and you can see so many stars, its amazing. I don't know what it is but for me it is so calming, I just love it. It is the same when I go to the beach during the summer, or to our summer house upstate. At the beach I will usually take a walk late at night, and just sit on the beach looking at the stars. Upstate, we all sit outside and wait for shooting stars around a fire. It is definitely one of my favorite things to do during the summer. And even last weeks Lunar Eclipse, it was so beautiful, I had to just stand outside and watched for a while (even though it was FREEZING out lol).

Then, on AOL.com I was reading an article, about the Northern Lights. They look absolutely beautiful, its really something that I hope to see at least one time during my life. I don't know where, or when, but I think it is definitely something I want to witness

Sex and the City!

I'm so excited!! They finally released a trailer that gives us some info!
Can't wait until May 30th.

cant sleep again

So.. yea, I'm still awake. I've been studying for the past two days and I feel like I haven't absorbed ANYTHING! I have this Paleontology midterm on Monday and I am definitely not prepared for it. I also don't know why we are having this exam on Monday while Midterms Week doesn't start until March 10th, but hey.. I guess my teacher thinks he is special enough to be different. Whatever. Anyhoo.. I'm gonna go to bed and get up nice and early to start studying the symplesiomorphies and synapomorphies of invertebrate organisms...

i can't wait to go home in 11 days!! and not have to think about this stuff
